Our sweet girl, Mia Elizabeth Rose (Mia-we've always loved this name/Elizabeth-in memory of Chris's dad's mom, Elizabeth/Rose-in honor of Chris's mom's mom, Rosemarie and in memory of his aunt Roseanne who passed away December 2009) was born this Monday, May 2 at 10:28 am. She weighed 8lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches. We are praising God for the many blessings of a healthy pregnancy, healthy labor/delivery, healthy baby and healthy mommy and a wonderful experience with our hospital/midwife practice.
Sometime I will share our birth story...I'm just a little busy right now ;)
Actually, things are going wonderful! We were able to come home Wed. morning and my mom is staying with us for a few days as we try and catch up on some sleep.
Mia is so far a pretty easy going, laid back baby. Nataleigh is adjusting to little sis and yes, it's been a challenge so far. It doesn't help we are all still really tired so I look forward to all of us getting rested up!
