House Search Update

When I wrote my last post I said we were pre-approved...we were not...we were ALMOST pre-approved (which still means NOT pre-approved). With our unique situation...raising support as our income and all we are still waiting on one more thing. We will get pre-approved eventually...all of the ministers at Velocity have. Please pray that this process will be over soon and we can move on. We still looked at houses yesterday and found a possibility and will look more next week. After looking yesterday we have more of an idea what we are looking for and were able to look more online last night and compilied a list of 10 more possibilities!!
We are going at the beginning of next week to get away and we are so excited about this! We need this time away so bad! Pray for us that we would rest/relax and not focus on pre-approval, house search, launch sunday, baby etc.
Have a great weekend!
Jessica

Crazy times!

Chris and I have been pre-approved to buy a house! So, tomorrow we are meeting with the realtor to begin looking. Please pray that our decision would honor God. We believe that buying a house right now is the right decision instead of renting because renting would be way more expensive than buying in the area we are going to be in. There are so many wonderful incentives right now for first time home buyers and there are many, many great options in our price range.
Please pray that we would have clear minds and patience! We are getting down to crunch time with launch Sunday only weeks away and the arrival of Nataleigh only a few months away. We are looking forward to the day when we can be close to the people in our community and not feel so disconnected!
Thank you for your support!

**Side note**
Nataleigh continues to amaze us more and more every day! For the last 2 nights she has been kicking at her Daddy when he reads and talks to her! It is so precious! We can't wait to meet her!! ;)

Update on Grandpa Love

What a miracle we got to see God do! Grandpa is home!!! Before his fall he had kidney problems and has been on dialysis, so just keep him in your prayers as he continues with his dialysis and continues to heal from his fall. All praise to Him, our Great Physician!

Today my grandpa Love (my dad's dad) fell pretty bad and has been life flighted to Columbus. Please keep my grandpa (Harry) and the rest of the family in your prayers.

Valentines Day

We enjoyed the day with Chris's parents. In a week we are going away for a few days to downtown Cleveland for the celebration of Valentines, my Birthday, pre-launch and pre-baby getaway...this was mandatory by our lead minister for all of the ministers and families to get away before launch Sunday...and of course we would not pass up the chance!
So back to Valentines Day...We went to a candy store called "Sweeties"...they have ALL different kinds of candy and the old stuff like "fruit stripped gum", "teaberry gum", candy cigarettes, and so much more. They even had a Reeses peanut butter egg that was the size of a softball! Then we went out to eat to an Italian restaurant near his dad's work and then came home and watched "FireProof"...AMAZING! It's a must see if you have not seen it yet, although I'm pretty sure everyone I know has already seen it...we are a little slow going to watching movies.
Here's a few pictures from our day...
Beginning of 25 weeks

You could see the city from "Sweeties"

These are pictures from last week when Chris and his mom made homemade manicotti and meatballs!!! Delicious!!

Beginning of 24th week

As you can tell she's been growing a lot! Went to the doctor last week...everything's great!! In 4 weeks I will see the doc again and will have the dreaded glucose test. :( After that I will see him again in 4 weeks and after that appt. I will start to see the doc once every 2 weeks. I can't believe the 3rd trimester is almost here!
**Prayer Request**
Please pray specifically for us this week that we can get pre-approved for a house and really get moving on the search for a home. And also be praying for that exact home that we will move into-smooth process, make the right decision, etc.

An Update from Nataleigh, the acrobat

Hi, everyone! I can't wait to meet all of you! My mommy says that this week I've been moving like an acrobat. I do, I like to do somersalts, kicks and occasional flutters. My Grandma Rupprecht got to see me move for the first time this week too! Sometimes when mommy tries to let people watch me move I stop moving and continue when she stops showing me off. But there are times I like to really show my moves, especially after mommy eats and lays in the recliner and right before mommy falls asleep at night.
I get to go to the doctor this week to let them know how big I've gotten in 4 weeks. Mommy's not too excited about getting on the scales, she's been feeding me really well the last 4 weeks! She says she has more of an appetite now, so much she could eat a house :)
Daddy continues to talk to me and I can't wait to see him for the first time! He gets really excited when he sees me moving. One night this week I let him watch me do my acrobats for 5 minutes straight!
My mommy always talks about all this snow we are getting but I don't understand I'm enjoying my laps in my nice warm swimming pool :)
Well, until next time hope you have a great week!
