Trip To West Side Market

Nataleigh and Daddy met up with Grandpa, Nonna, BisNonna and Becca at the West Side Market. They had a wonderful time! It was the first "real" snowfall of the year.

...so I'm doing really bad about taking pictures...but I have a great excuse...our camera hasn't been working. Which stinks! One day my dream is to have a really nice camera and take photography lessons. I love photography! Anyway.. So, Chris takes pics on his phone and sometimes they turn out and other times not. Here are few pics from the beginning of December when we put up the tree...
We are enjoying this season! It's crazy though with a toddler and an infant trying to keep them on track and not overwhelming them too much. Also, trying to keep up on my end with baking, buying a few gifts, and doing what I normally do during the day... etc etc....I'm finding myself VERY overwhelmed by it all right now...oh well...this is only a season!

Nataleigh had a 2.5 yr well visit this week and she's growing and doing great! The doctor was impressed with how she talks in paragraphs and that she's potty trained! WOOT WOOT! YAY, Nat! She weighed 28 lbs (50th%tile). At 12 months she was at the 5th percentile for her weight so this is a drastic improvement. If I told you how much she eats you would be blown away! She packs it in but she's always on the go too and has a very high metabolism :)

Gingerbread House!

This year we did a Gingerbread house with Nataleigh. She LOVED it! We bought the entire kit so nothing was homemade. Maybe we will try homemade next year! :)

and Nat is more like mommy every day! ;)

Nataleigh is very much into singing ;) When I was a little girl I remember telling my mom to "be quiet" when she was singing so I could sing and be heard. ;) Well, I got a little taste of my own medicine this week when Nataleigh "quieted" me while singing so she could sing! ;) hahahaha.
Love her more and more every day! ;)

Cinnamon Rolls!

Once a year I bust out the sinful cinnamon rolls. They are fun to make but also VERY unhealthy so I figure once a year won't hurt! ;) I found this recipe last year (thanks Pioneer Woman) and it made 8 pans of cinnamon rolls...yes, 8! We had them coming out our ears :) This year I remembered that and cut the recipe in half :)

Funny things kids say! ;)

I've been meaning to write down all of the cute things Nataleigh has been saying...here are a few:
**When looking at the lightening with daddy, daddy asked her: "where does lightening come from?" With fast response she says: "lightening bugs." ;)
**She calls the Christmas tree the Birthday Tree. ;)
**At her second haircut when the hair would get in her eyes she would call them fuzzies ;)
**She will say "biscuit" in a southern accent ;)
**my favorite-she pronounces "Rupprecht" "Pooprecht" ;)

...I'm sure I will think of more...

She's also really into singing these days. She will sing all of Jesus Loves Me, Zaccheus, This Little Light of Mine, Reflection, Tell The World, Holy, Holy.
