I was unable to make it to my 10 year (I know, gasp) ;) reunion and my other friends were unable as well. So, we planned a reunion for all of us to get together this summer! It was so wonderful to catch up with these friends. It is so neat to see how much changes in 10 years. I'm thankful for the friends God has placed in my life!
It wouldn't be a complete gathering without our cookie monster:
Us (minus Lauren)... it just wasn't complete without her
Our kids (minus Mia)

Nataleigh's first haircut
While we were in A town I had to get my haircut by my favorite hairdresser and went ahead and got Nataleigh's first haircut. She doesn't have much hair but it was getting pretty shaggy. Thankfully GiGi came along with us and was able to help with the girls. Nataleigh had a rough time sitting but she was pretty tired from the week anyway. She also got pretty sparkles in her hair, a certificate and we got to keep a lock of her hair.

Mia 2 month well visit
Today was Mia's 2 month well visit. I had been dreading this as Nataleigh did awful with her shots at 2 months :( So far so good but we'll see what the rest of the day holds :)
Mia weighs 12lb. 2.5oz and is 22.5". Her head circumference was 37.5. She is in the 50%tile for her height and weight and 25%tile for her head. (but if the parent's heads are smaller that's a factor too...so she probably just has a small head)
Doc says everything looks great! She just smiled the whole time until the shots :(
Our baby is growin...these days sure go by way too fast! :(

25 months
Today Nataleigh is 25 months!
Some new things I've noticed in the past month:
-Using more sentences and comprehending a lot
-She's tall (80%tile for height at her 2 yr check up)
-Very motherly to her baby dolls and Mia (changing diapers, feeding bottles, strolling them)
-Mimicking a lot of things I do
-Tends to be a bit sassy :(
-Trying more foods
-Very extroverted (I knew this but as we are out more I'm realizing how true it really is)
The biggest milestone is that she's potty trained!!!!! She did great at our first outing which was at Grandpa and Nona's (so more familiar). Our second outing was at a splash park and for a split second she had disappeared and I was so worried. I rushed to the bathroom thinking she might be in there and she was saying she had to go (I had not told her where the bathroom was and she even went in the girl's one) Very strange...have to watch her close! She tends to escape quickly. But she went potty every time there!
So thankful for our Nataleigh! She's our charmer.

Happy 4th!
Today we woke up with no plans for the 4th and by late morning we made plans to have Chris's family over and a little after that we were thrilled to hear that our friends from college, the Jewells were coming for dinner! I quick cleaned the house (as last week was solely dedicated to Potty Training and the house cleaning went out the window) and we blew up the pool for Nataleigh and Chris mowed. It was an enjoyable day with family. Nataleigh loved the pool and it kept her very occupied! ;)
Mia is 9 weeks old today and she had a very pleasant day. She pleasant mostly-last week wasn't so pleasant so the past few days have been very enjoyable!
Nataleigh playing with the Jewell girls (I used to babysit their oldest, Clara in college-she will be in 3rd grade next year!)

Mia-2 months old
Looking up at mommy after bath time- 2 months old:
Wow! 2 months already!? Time has flown by! Some new things going on with Mia this month:
*She's smiling more
*She's started to coo
*Much, much more alert and aware of her surroundings (really noticed this at 8 weeks)
*We ended up getting a white noise machine for her room because our house can get pretty noisy. This has helped SO much already!
*She's found her hands and we unswaddled 1 arm so she could have her hand-not gutsy enough yet to totally drop the swaddle ;)
*She's still not sleeping through the night yet but last night we got a nice glimpse that it could be on the horizon soon! She woke up once at 3:15.
*She still seems to be a pretty laid back, happy baby
*She loves to be on her tummy
*She will let anyone hold her
*She continues to love her baths
*She's eating 7-8 times a day, wakes up between 6:30/7am

Potty Training Success!!!!
Well, here's to Nataleigh doing wonderfully with potty training! She hasn't had any accidents all day yesterday or yet today. We have not had any outings this week but our first one is tomorrow so I'm curious to see what will happen. Thankfully she will be at a familiar place (Grandpa and Nonna's) :)
It was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Just hard in the fact that we stayed home all week but that's alright! It's so worth it and I look forward to not forking out all that money on diapers!!!!
